INTUITIVE INTERIOR DESIGN
CREATING HOMES WITH A SENSE OF PLACE, PERSONALITY AND JOY
About
A little about me
When I was a little girl, I loved getting involved in the renovations of my childhood home – especially when it came to designing my own room. My mum always had a project on the go but it wasn’t until she hired an interior designer that I thought “I could do that”. Little did she know it would inspire my entire career.
Later, as I started my own family and began designing our home, my professional experience became integral in creating an environment where my personal life could flourish.
Even at a young age I understood that our homes and the spaces we spend time in can have a huge impact on the way we feel – this is something I’ve carried passionately into my practice and something that came to the fore when designing my own home. What use is a beautiful room if we don’t love spending time in it after all?
My experience
After studying for a degree in Interior Architecture, I spent the best part of two decades in the industry. From the Berkeley hotel in London and Marcus Wareing’s restaurant to the Limehouse hotel and W hotels and spas, I’ve designed for some incredible names in the hospitality industry. I now dedicate my time to more residential projects, using both my professional and personal experience to create life-enhancing homes.
What makes my approach unique
Alongside many years in the industry, my personal experience is really what’s shaped the way I work. After losing my mum and starting a family in close proximity, the renovation of my own home became an endeavour to create both a sanctuary and a space where our family could thrive.
I understand firsthand how a thoughtfully designed home can inspire, motivate and calm, but also have the ability to hold space for challenging feelings, provide a sanctuary for busy lives and be adaptable to change.
My mission is, quite simply, to make every client feel their best in the spaces we create together.
